We believe there’s a gap in the market. Cheese is on the same trajectory as natural wine and craft beer (in pure food & drink terms) and vinyl records (in a broader cultural sense). It is increasingly becoming a lifestyle item, and another trophy to display at dinner parties.

That said, it is our belief that cheese has an even higher ceiling as the core subject for a specialist publication. Not everyone likes music beyond mainstream radio, and plenty of people don’t drink wine or beer at all. But most people eat and enjoy cheese at some level. And, as a luxury purchase, it is relatively affordable.
